How To Get A Blank New Tab Page In Chrome

Chrome's New Tab page contains a lot of content that can take a few moments to load. If you're like me you prefer to have a simple blank page show up with each new window or tab.
I created two extensions that replace the New Tab page with a blank one. One extension retains the Bookmarks Bar functionality, while the other is fully blank.
Bookmarks Bar
Normally, Chrome displays the Bookmarks Bar on the New Tab page if you have Show Bookmarks Bar set to off in Chrome Bookmarks Settings. The first extension retains this functionality:
'Blank New Tab Page With Bookmarks Bar' Extension
If you want an entirely blank New Tab page that does not show a Bookmarks Bar, use this extension instead:
'Blank New Tab Page' Extension
